His arm doesn't ache anymore, thanks to the painkillers. "Do you think she doesn't like us?". Mycroft and John exchange text messages. Mycroft appears to have a steel capsule for arthropods.

These Composites exist because the wonderful FayJay and I were similarly inspired. So there are two versions of each of the stories. These combine those two versions (occasionally interwoven voices in the non-mystery version, and mystery reveal with a different voice in the Mystery version). I think they turned out really well and it's a cool way to join both of our love for these stories into one long recording of happiness. Or something like that!

In a burst of synchronicity, both Rhea314 and I wanted to podfic these fabulous Sherlock/His Dark Materials stories, so what we've done is BOTH of us have recorded them, to release into the wild simultaneously. (Hopefully. Notwithstanding the whacky time difference thing of one person being on East Coast North America time, and one being on Thailand time.) I &hearts these stories. SUCH a clever premise, and the way that things unfold is so ineluctable and satisfying, even though it's the last thing I would have thought I'd buy based on TV canon. Genuinely transformative work, this.
