This is an author I've wanted to record for literally *years* but have never really felt like I had the right voice to be able to pull off her style. I like what I've done with this one though, hopefully I'll be able to tackle some more of her work soon:)

hehehehehe.

I have a special love/bafflement relationship w/ her writing in general; there is MUCH to love and admire and get affected strongly by, and yet there's always something that bothers me enough to make me think I wouldn't be able to read it without feeling twinges of ... something, I don't know how to describe it. So, anyway, enough with my navel-gazing , but I just wanted to say: even if your reasons to think you wouldn't do her stuff justice are different, I grok that you can have thought about reading her a lot yet never really managed until now. And I really happy you did manage! *downloads with glee*
The Elf story is so much fun.

Downloading now, thanks!

I'm not familiar with the author (or with inception), but this intrigues me.

It took me a while to psyche myself up to listen, because I have such an awkward feeling I can't shake ever, when it comes to my own writing. But you have an excellent voice, and it was odd (and wonderful) to HEAR this and be able to enjoy it as a story and not a mess of words I tried to put together. What a strange, yet pleasing experience! Ha!

Can I link it at the top of the fic?

Well, this was just about the most weirdly wonderful thing I'd heard in a while...
