Fandom: Sherlock Holmes (2009)
Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/John Watson
Length: 14:18 (13.7 MB)

Author's Summary: Post-movie, Holmes tries to deal with a robbery alone. Some violence ensues. Watson tries to make it better, with variable success. Originally this was hurt-comfort UST but the Holmes POV may make it read as unrequited, so it can be read either way.

Notes: This story is a really gorgeous portrayal of Holmes' emotional dependence on Watson and how sensitively Watson deals with it. It made me long for a British accent (don't worry, I didn't attempt one) because the voices come through so well and so much characterization is bound up in them.
