I listened to this last night, and it's as much fun listening to you as it was reading it. I like your calm delivery style, because it kinda contrasts the very extreme emotions the story describes and keeps it from going OTT. Plus, I love the way everyone reads Derek...nice growly Derek there :)

you have a lovely reading voice, very even but not boring. I only wish you wouldn't try so hard to lower your voice when speaking for Derek. It takes all the inflections/tones out of the words and makes them a little garbly and flat.

Thank you for the feedback! I may try pitch my reading of Derek higher in the future then, or play around with register to find something that isn't as grating (I actually managed to talk myself hoarse with this podfic, which I think is related to where I pitched Derek, so that might also contribute to any garbly-ness). It's good to know that this particular attempt might not be working as well. Thanks for you thoughts.
