I was really excited to see this post because I adored her fic and loved the idea of getting Emergencies!Clint and Emergencies!Natasha in my head any time I wanted to hit play on my iphone, you know? But it took me a little time to actually have the space to listen; I mean, you above all of us fans of this fic must know it's heavy in many places. When I WAS ready, though, I really felt your performance was a way of having someone holding my hand through all of Clint's heavy stuff. I loved having the words of this fic in my head again, but this time with a steward of Clint's emotions, someone else to accompany him. You did this so well, invoking lots of emotion into his struggles and into Natasha's. Thank you so much for recording this!

I'm really pleased that you listened and enjoyed this! This story is intense and so emotional, and for me it was imperative that I record it. I completely understand about the wait - it took me until recently to be ready to listen to your amazing podfic of Disclosures (I'm in the process of listening, it's awesome). There is a lot in the story that can be very difficult to listen to, for me recording was simultaneously cathartic and distressing in places. Being a 'steward of Clint's emotions' is a lovely way to put it, and I'm glad it worked for you. Thank you so much for sharing your feelings. <3

I just finished listening to this podfic and I have to tell you: it was amazing. I especially appreciated your Natasha-voice, it was absolutely flawless. And the way you read the last part, the "here's something that's true" sent chills down my spine.
