This was an absolute pleasure to listen to. I especially enjoyed the intro music and the traffic diegetic noise. I thought the way you guys read it - really softly and slowly, made it all the more heart breaking. The end had me near tears. Very lovely. Thank you.

Oh, thanks so much! I read the story and was immediately enthralled by it. It's not the kinky happy Sterek I like to revel in, but it certainly is the Stiles and Derek that I think is more realistic and likely. And hedgerose is a wonderful writer. Her sentences just cut me up. I'm glad that our reading worked for you.

You GUYS. This is such a great reading--I loved the way you split up the parts--I feel like having this be a group effort gave Derek's characterization a kind of depth I might not have read into it if I'd just read the story, because his experiences and his history change between time frames and just. My heart hurt a lot for him, and you all brought so much to his char.

Thanks so much! I think different points of view and different times are the easiest fics to collaborate on but I never thought about what it means in terms of interpretation. You're so right. It does show the younger and older Derek in a way that might not be as obvious...
