John Watson was an army doctor who was sent back to England after he was shot in the shoulder. He has a rocky relationship with his sister Harriet, aka Harry, who is an alcoholic, and recently left her wife, Clara. John was introduced to Sherlock Holmes, the world's only consulting detective, and ended up moving in and running about London solving crimes with him - though often gets left behind because Sherlock is an impatient dick. Mycroft is Sherlock's shady government official older brother, who may actually be the British government. Visual aids for John, Sherlock and Mycroft.

I really, really like the 'all you need to know' bit, especially the visual aids! (Having said that, BBC Sherlock is still not my thing, so I probably won't listen. But I do often want to listen to stuff that I have no clue about, and this type of thing would be so handy!) I really like the cover art, especially the fonts and how the words have been arranged.

Fantastic! I hope the idea will catch on - I love listening to stories I've never read, but going in knowing nothing about the characters or the fandom is really daunting, and who better to summarise the essentials than the person who spent ages recording all the words? Thank you very much for commenting on the cover! I'm not nearly as good as other graphic whizzes on this comm, but I do try to do a good job. And you're very lovely to comment even though this pod isn't your cup of tea :)

Another thumbs-up for the "Not your fandom?" section! Very cool! :) I do always love sampling fandoms I don't know about... but sometimes need a nudge to actually go ahead and download.
