My sincere thanks to tadorna for permission to record this story, based on my all-time favorite fairy tale. This is the longest podfic I've recorded so far, and the first one to include dialogue, so it's somewhat reassuring to know that it's been podficced before and this needn't be definitive--you can find luzula's recording of the story on the archive.

Yay, I hope you like it! I didn't want to copy you but it was useful to have your version on hand--like, at times when I didn't like the way I sounded reading something but had it stuck in my head that way, it was good to hear it read differently. And, of course, yours is a lovely recording in its own right.

Thanks for the note! I've...more or less been too lazy to go find out how many points this is worth (or the other one I posted in mid-March), and have been figuring other people were going to earn astronomically more points anyway. I really enjoyed your reading of this. I really got a soft, fairytale vibe but with something sinister underneath from it. Also I thought the music you used really added to the whole thing. The whole thing was really atmospheric!
