I didn't know you were in this fandom... Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
And, FYI, after reading your meta post about podbooks I made sure to add art to this one (I hadn't been before when I was making them). Now I'm thinking of retroactively adding art to all my podfics. I hadn't realized so many people loved that aspect of it.
It's amazing how much podfic can factor into your new fandoms once you get into it. I know that the amount of podfic that a fandom has is a big factor when choosing a fandom (I was totally trick when it came to AI though, I went to the archive and saw lots of podfic, only to later realize that half of it was for a different season).
Yes! Art is great! It makes podfics seem so much more substantial and polished, like real books. I'm glad my post was useful to you. :-) I listen to podfic on my computer at work, so I never really see the art if there is any and don't use podbooks since I have Windows Media Player, which doesn't accept it. It was a real eye opener to find out why people love podbooks so much and what about them is special.
Actually, that's one of my favourite parts of meta. I've always thought it's better to know you're making a choice than to just keep doing something. Because sometimes, knowing about it, will have you change up what you do.
