Summary Erik Lehnsherr was born different. He was one of the Cursed. He was a shark, a trained killer, a weapon created by Sebastian Shaw. And he was a loner -- until Charles Xavier stepped into his life and followed him home. Erik had no idea who and what Charles really was, aside from annoying and irritating and so adorable.

Date: 2011-10-20 07:08 am (UTC)If the file is a single mp3, I appear to be able to add the mp3 tag in Get Info and all is well. This doesn't work if the file is a zipped folder, however. Is yours a folder? If so, could you re-upload it without zipping it first? Zipping mp3s is pretty unnecessary in any event since the format is already so highly compressed.
Sorry to make things more difficult for your first time here!
I sure wish I could figure out what is going on with these files. If I download them from my sisters Mac, which is still running Snow Leopard, the problem doesn't exist. It's a real pain!

Date: 2011-10-20 03:44 pm (UTC)I finally decided I'm fed up with this recurring issue, even though it only effects some files from some readers, so I pulled out my super google fu talents and, hopefully, have found a work around!
It's a shareware program called File Juicer, which searches Windows created files and extracts many formats from them, including mp3s. I downloaded a trial version, and it worked great!
I'm off to the grocery store, but I'll work on your podbook later today.
