I have something of an embarrassment squick when it comes to NC-17 podfic, which I imagine would be amplified when it comes to my own fic, so I haven't listened to the whole of this but I've listened to the first part and I really like the laconic, dry tone you have for Arthur's voice - it's perfect.

Right, I overcame my embarrassment squick and listened to this all the way through yesterday and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it: your pacing and delivery are fantastic and you made me laugh like crazy at the funny bits and nearly say OH ARTHUR out loud while cleaning the kitchen. Which sounds narcissistic but I don't usually enjoy my own writing that way, once it's done - it's all in your pitch-perfect tone. ♥ Thank you!

Oh, thank you! I am so glad you liked my interpretation, sometimes it's tricky to determine if you are really hitting the way the writer intended for the words to sound. I am always so happy when the person who wrote the story I loved so much says I made them laugh - that is what I was going for, where appropriate! One thing I thought terrific about the story is how you never give the Eames POV - but a careful reader can retrospectively detect how much he's acting out of character as well, and how much he's been barely holding it together since Arthur came along. And I like that Arthur is just a bit of an ass in the beginning...thanks again for letting me know, it means a lot...
