I am pretty new to the whole thing myself, but I like your voice and pacing.
Ender seems like a nice choice, if you had any suggestions for good authors in this fandom I would appreciate a heads up :)

Thank you, it's nice to know. Most people don't comment on podfics, so I'm always surprised when someone does. At least in the fandom I usually podfic :").

As for writers in the Enderverse fandom, they're scarce and I don't really have decent recs. These are some tiny ones that are lovely:

Too lazy to properly html them. I wish it was a more active fandom. There may be some things if you backread @ enderish or enderslash, but tbqh, most ficcers in this fandom seem to have stopped at Ender's Game, and thus most stories aren't very canon. Sad, the books have so much potential :(

J-pop: JE/KAT-TUN fandom, everything is @ inkroulette. Other than that, I podficced a Crime and Punishment fic (http://inkroulette.livejournal.com/60696.html), but I just keep it on my comm because I can't contact the author yet and I feel bad crossposting without her consent.

Me too, I wished there was more on that fandom. And thank you for your wonderful words! They make all that tedious boring editing completely worth it ♥

Well, Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/) is quite easy to use. We haven't done it yet, but at je_podfic we have a project of Podfic for dummies; it'd hopefully be out soon, so maybe you could check in that comm in a week or two :").

If not, there are tutorials here (http://audiofic.jinjurly.com/creating-and-submitting-podfic-recordings). And Lauren, the friend who got me into podficcing, sent me to podfic_tips when I was starting. Both can be useful if you want to sit and read a bit more. If not, you'll learn soon.. I've came to learn my primitive editing from trial and error <3

It's a podfic comm for JE-related fics (JE is an agency of idols in Japan, basically J-pop). We're not that big yet, but slowly building more podfics in our fandom ♥.
