Eeeep! So sorry that it took me so long to get back to you (holidays + siblings returning home from school + week-long Family Vacation + doing all the laundry after said vacation = very little time left for LJ) Please forgive me? Um, the song in question is "Fade To Black", a remix of the Metallica song as performed by Apocalyptica, off the album Inquisition Symphony. You can find it on youtube over here, if you want to hear it all the way through with no interruptions by me ;-)

Also, if you're interested, I've got some notes and thoughts and rambles about the podficcing process of the story at my journal - not exactly the Director's Cut, but I think it's interesting...

That's perfectly okay! I found out what the music was when I was editing the info of the file on iTunes and saw it in the notes on there. :) I have to thank you so much for introducing to Apocalyptica! Their music is so amazing, I haven't listened to anything else after I found them. xD
