Date: 2011-06-23 04:04 pm (UTC)Once I understood how many people have difficulty with auditory processing I couldn't not make non music versions. Also, music doesn't appeal to everybody, or they don't enjoy having music they didn't pick added to the recording. It is extra work, but I'm happy to do it.
Legion wrote me, when I asked for permission to podfic this story, that she had written it and introduced it by reading it outloud for a PJ party with Sentinel fans at (I think) Revelcon. She wrote that there actually was a storm that night, and rain and thunder and lightning. So partly I wanted to include those sound effects because of the history of the story, and because of the nature of the story.
