I just got a chance to listen to it, and I really, really enjoyed your reading. I already loved the way you read dialogue, but so much of this one takes place in Sam's head, and I was very impressed by how you dramatized the more introspective parts, and by the way Dean came through both in himself and through Sam's eyes.

Plus, listening to the porn wasn't nearly as embarrassing as I thought it would be.

Ha, I'm glad it wasn't too mortifying for you. I think it's one of those things you get used to--I remember the first super porny story I tried reading aloud and how quickly I got over feeling self-conscious. And honestly this one of yours wouldn't have been particularly embarrassing to read even if that bothered me, because there isn't a lot of dialogue, or not the porny sort, anyway. I think it's sort of like I've heard actors describe acting--it's not them doing whatever they're doing, it's the character--so there's no point in being embarrassed. I do always try to "act" a little, get into the character's head, so if they're moaning, well... Although I've actually had people tell me that they thought I did a good job of that. Also that they liked my "Jensen's 'I am having sex now'" voice. *grins*

Anyway, thanks for the kind words. I know for myself when I listen to a podfic, the reader's inflection is probably the number one most important thing to me, so I'm glad you thought that worked.
