Oooh, thank you! I'm glad that my fumblings in GarageBand didn't mess up the sound quality or your enjoyment of the recording too much (though, I am thinking more and more seriously about buying an external mike. I'd hate to conceed the war, but since the laptop fan keeps winning more battles that I am.... we'll see).

B) I think I've seen you mention this before, but what mic do you use? 'Cause I contemplated walking into a Besy Buy and asking a Nerd Herd-esque person to point me in the direction of gaming headsets...but then I chickened out. So, any advice would be welcomed with open arms and a large smile.

I just just a Phillips head mic, that plugs into my 3.5mm jack in my laptop. It's very comfortable to use and I can't imagine recording a long podfic without it
