Loved it!

You did really good job on switching between all cool, logical R.Daneel and temperamental and all too. ahem, human Elijah. By the way - it was really weird to hear their names. In my head it sounded somehow different, when I first read it. (Not a critic point at all!)

Do you by any chance plan to podfic anymore fics from Asimov's 'verse? I would really appreciate that!

Eeee, thank you! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed it, especially the character voices. I had fun with those. I actually heard their names differently at first, too--in my head it was DAN-eel and e-LEE-jah, but then I first read these stories in a Swedish translation. But since then I've listened to a professional audiobook of them in English, so I went with the pronunciations in that one.

I've already podficced another Asimov fic, but it's Powell/Donovan, not Daneel/Baley. You might enjoy that one, too, though!

Exactly! That's funny, my first Asimov-stories were in Russian, and it sounded still quite the same for me :D
But then again, I was still a child when our family moved to Germany and afterwards I have heard some German Robot-stories audio-books, so, I guess, in my head the different pronunciations have just blend into each other, creating some crazy mixed sound :D

Thanks! I've already downloaded that one :) This week is a bit stressful but the next I'll definitely find some time to listen to it! It's rare enough to find a good SF story with a great speaker, so Powell/Donovan is fine as well :)

(But I won't hide, that I had grown very fond of Daneel/Baley... They are kind of an OTP for me :) So, if you'll find another nice story with them, don't hesitate to podfic it :)

Oh, I wish there were more Daneel/Baley stories. But it's a very rare fandom--I'm only aware of those that are from Yuletide.

Hmm, I do have a few more long SF stories, if that's what you like: there's this one, which is gen fic for Ursula K. Le Guin's "Left Hand of Darkness". There's some nice alien anthropology in it. There's also this, which is gen fic for Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars series. It's basically a road trip on Mars.
