Reader's Note
: While this is not the first podfic I've posted, it is in truth, the first one I started working on (several months ago), so please excuse the differences in audio quality. The oldest recordings are actually chapters 7 and 8 (earlier chapters may have been re-recorded due to horrible quality *cough, cough*). My thanks to the author,
[info]strangeandcharm, for her permission and enthusiasm to record this story, and to [info]crinklysolution  for beta-ing these 12 hours! Also, this is my first attempt at producing an m4b podbook, so please let me know if there are any problems with the file.   I hope you enjoy!

Having heard this first, I can say that it is excellent - great story with lots of action and written thoughtfully, and smashingly well-read by alchemynerd! Her voice is wonderfully warm and easy to listen to, and the way she confidently and compellingly voices these complex characters will draw you into the story. Absolutely recommended.

Holy crap, I *literally* just said to myself, as I was updating the mod spreadsheet, that no one would be posting anything over 10 hours long, surely. And then the very next podfic I got to was this one. \o/ GO POINTS GO!!

BRAVO!

It's already a great story, but you did a fantastic job reading it. Loved your Cas and Dean voices, everything was so spot on. I love podfic and totally applaud you for doing such a long story, such a pleasure to listen to. I hope you do more in the future.

Granted, I'm only about half way in but I had to let you know what a fantastic job you've done with this. It's an epic podfic and you just have this calm methodical way of reading, I'm really enjoying it so far.

I gotta thank you, you've just made my week 10 times more interesting that usual! I've been listening to this every free minute I've had.

The fic itself was amazing but your reading it really brought it to life. The emotion you managed to express when Dean or Castiel were speaking was fantastic. Also, I know that had I been reading this myself, I'd have missed loads of the minor details in the descriptions that I noticed as you read.

It was an absolute pleasure to listen to, and thank you for filling my week for me.

OMG, honey - 12+ hours of one of my favorite stories ever??? *swoons* AWESOME!!

I'm on part 4 now and I just had to drop by and tell you what a wonderful job you did on the reading - perfect pacing, clear diction, just enough expression in your voice. I'm thoroughly enjoying it! All I want to do is drive or clean the house or walk the dogs because those are the times when I listen to podfic, lol.

Thank you very much for making an audio version of this gorgeous story, I’m sure it must have been a hell of a hard job, but believe me the result was great. You can’t imagine how much I enjoyed the twelve hours of it. This is the first podfic I have ever listened to, and I have to admit I was a little dubious at the beginning because my English kinda sucks, but your pronunciation was so clear, the pace was perfect and your voice was so soothing, I had no problem at all. You did an awesome job. Thanks again :)

I just wanted to thank you s o o o o o o o much for this! I'm pretty severely dyslexic and reading really, really long fics on the internet, though fun, can be pretty exhausting for me. You doing this was awesome and it just made me happy. So thank you, you did a great job, I loved your Dean and Castiel voices, they sounded just like them with out being them you know what I mean? quality was great.
Thank you!
Mia

I am so glad this exists because Thursday's Child is my favorite Dean/Cas fic EVER and strangeandcharm seems to have disappeared from livejournal and they're not on DW either. SO so glad this is here. Do you know what happened, by any chance?
