This is sort of cheating because [livejournal.com profile] verbyna wrote this story based on my prompt, and now I'm podficcing it. So maybe it's not cheating, so much as coming full circle. :)

Anyway, this is for her, and I hope she feels better soon.

Title: Finally Hit the Spot
Author: [livejournal.com profile] verbyna
Reader: [livejournal.com profile] desert_neon
Pairing: Gabe/William
Rating: R
Word Count: ~1000
Length: 5:58
Summary: It's not Gabe's fault that William's not a girl. It's not William's fault that Gabe is straight.
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction that uses the likeness of real individuals. None of the events and situations herein are intended to be read as factual or reflect upon the individuals mentioned.
Author's notes: for [livejournal.com profile] desert_neon's prompt: Bill/Gabe. Bill doesn't crossdress, exactly. But he wears girls' shirts on tight jeans sometimes, and his hair! Oh, his hair. (I hope you like it!)
Podficcer's notes: I do like it! I do! Love it, actually!

This is a really wonderful reading of a great fic. I think you get into Bill's head really well here, there's a sort of matter-of-fact desperation, it's just spot-on. Also I like your podficcing style--you have a good sense of pacing and a light touch with the emotion that really worked for this story.

I don't ship these two (or even know all that much about TAI tbh) - so I have no clue how this ended up on my ibooks. But OH MY GOD, what a gorgeous read of a heartbreaking story. You really made me believe in it and you captured the bittersweetness of the story's tone so perfectly. Definitely saving this in my faves!
