Thank you so much. I must confess that, although I love every story I record or I wouldn't put so much time into them, "Screw You..." is one of my very favorite ones, full stop. I usually don't listen to my own readings (other than during the editing process) very much because it makes me self-conscious, but I'll admit that I do carry this one around on my own iPod.

I checked out "Yes, Sir..." and it looks like a good story that I'd definitely be interested in recording. I'll contact the author for permission right away--everything's contingent on receiving permission--but just so you know, I am already committed to a couple of projects which are...well, I don't think "mammoth" is too strong a word, so it might be several months before it's posted. Thank you for asking, though, and for pointing me to what looks like a wonderful story.

Just had to pop by and tell you how much I loved this. The story was fabulous, but your reading and the production of the podfic was awesome. Loved the weaving of all the music throughout. Who knew there were so many songs with Texas in it.

This is far and away my favorite podfic I've done to date, one I sometimes still listen to just to pass the time, and I hardly every listen to my own recordings once they're finished. I can't take credit for the songs, though--the author had used the lyrics as section breaks and I just converted them to audio form. They are kind of genius, though.

I just finished listening to this and it's going straight to my my top five podfic list. It's just such an excellent piece of audiofic!

I mean, of course the story is amazing, but your reading is truly masterful. You have a soothing voice that I find particularly relaxing and the way you played the boys in the dialogues is just spot-on, it felt so natural and real.

Also, epic long stories are my fave kind of podfic but I realise it probably takes readers ages to record them, so I basically love you twice for tackling this project.

I'm going to check out your tag at the audiofic archive because I look forward to listening to more of your work.

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed! I love the long ones, too, and rarely bother with a story that doesn't "read out" to more than 20 minutes at least. They do take some time--for me a story takes around 2 1/2 to 3 times as many hours as the recording runs because of the editing, uploading and posting process. Still, it's a labor of love.

Anyway, thanks so much for letting me know that you liked this one, and in such glorious detail!
