Kaloo, kalay! I have podfic today!

Title: I Bet Nureyev Never Had to Deal With This Shit (The Ballet AU)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] cobweb_diamond
Reader: [livejournal.com profile] emilianadarling
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Inception
Pairing: Arthur/Eames
Time: 02:15:52
Intro/Outro Song: Segments of Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Overture
Permanant Link: Mp3 (Here!) and Podbook (Here!)
Summary: Arthur has managed to achieve a principal role in the Royal Ballet Company's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, having just returned to dancing after a serious injury. However, his co-star Eames might just drive him insane before Opening Night.

One of the best-characterized AUs I have ever had the joy to read. :)  Apologies for any mis-pronounced ballet terms.  Drop me a line if you enjoy!

I agree with the above commenter that you did a brilliant job with the inflections of all the characters' voices (it was listening to a one-person performance)! :DDD

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I listened to your lovely podfic and enjoyed it tremendously. Such an excellent and interesting choice of story - I love the freedom of AUs to do something different, and I loved the little details of the lives of the dancers that the author chose to include. I also thought your reading was delightful - especially your Ariadne voice (eating around food - very funny.) And I thought that the way you voiced Eames' gentle way of talking to Arthur when they were dancing was a nice counterpoint to the cheeky way you voiced him in other parts. So, great job, and I'm loving all the great Inception podfic including yours right now...

I enjoyed every second of this podfic. I listened to it every other day when I exercised on my elliptical machine, and I didn't want to stop every time because it was just too interesting! So I just kept listening during my cool down stretches although I never did before this podfic.

I really like how you did the voices, although I must admit I was a bit confused during the interview at the end, but that was no big loss as I got the gist of it, and I'll be reading the fic later on.

Thanks for sharing!
