Hi! A quick note about the "archived" and "not archived" tags: the community maintainers use them to keep track of which podfics have been uploaded and entered into the Audiofic Archive. Your post caught my eye because I uploaded your earlier "Corner" stories (archive links coming soon!), and was pretty sure Chapter 4 hadn't been archived yet. It's no big deal, I just don't want your files to be overlooked during a "not archived" tag search. :) Good luck with future chapters!

The wav link for Chapter 2 isn't working. I'm not sure anyone uses wav files, but if you'd like them archived as well as the mp3s, you'll need to correct the link. :-)

I post the wav files because a few of my friends refuse to use Itunes, so wav is the only format I could give them.

How odd! mp3 is the universal format for audio and plays in--well, just about everything! It certainly isn't limited to iTunes.

Due to the fact that the wav files are almost 4X larger than the mp3s, and the size of the verse, we decided it won't be practical to archive this one as wavs. We'll continue to archive your shorter ones in both formats, though. :-)

Believe me, I've argued with them over the formatting but they refuse to budge on it.

It's perfectly fine about not archiving them. I was actually really surprised to see how much bigger they are in comparison to mp3.

Yeah, the size is ungodly. wav is an uncompressed format, whereas mp3 is compressed and saves tons of space. Very few podfics exist in wav format. Your friends sure are limiting themselves!

I have finished reuploading it. I'll probably go back through and move them all to mediafire later in the week. Sendspace has a very short life span for uploads apparently.

They're pretty size limited, too. I'm not sure about Mediafire. I like Megaupload because I have an account there so can download multiple files at once. That's a nice thing about box.net, too, even without having an account there; I don't know about the upload side, though.
