Re "Ivy League Material": May I ask for clarification of "gen-ish"? If it's random people Sam &/or Dean were or are involved with, cool. If it's not-quite-Wincest, then I need to pass. Boundaries, yadda. :-)

The story has mentions of Dean, his charm, and quite a few girls, but not like "Oooooh, sexy times!" or even, "Ooooh, you are a character about whose feelings I am concerned, OFC!" So, there's a pairing, but the story doesn't revolve around it.

BTW, I'm careful about this because some writers don't label fic as Sam/Dean unless they're actually having sex, so I've had some unpleasant experiences with fic that violated my boundaries (UST, etc) but was not labeled as incest. I appreciate your patience.

No, no, I completely understand where you're coming from. For me, it's angel!sex. I just can't read it. Whether it's Castiel, or Anna, or Gabriel, I just don't have the right mindset to blaspheme quite like that (and yet, I'm okay with incest.....weird).

Oh, hey! Since I’m coming right from your reading of “This Is The Start” (and your reading of “Torches Blazed” fresh in my mind), I must say you have such a nice versatility as a reader! You do humor, and cracky humor, and this—all so well! Thanks for for podficcing it! And the music choice was delightful as well. :)

(I’ll wait until after I catch up with season 5 to listen to easy As Pie, since you mention in the beginning of the recording it takes place in season 6 and I haven’t gotten there yet. Though I’m not sure a pie-related-fic would be exactly spoilery…)

Thank you for the compliment. I've read a whole lot of different styles of fic, and it's kinda cool for me (from a purely 'personal-achievement' perspective) to be able to branch out a little and do more than just 'silly' or 'crack-y' podifcs. I'm really glad to know that you're getting a sense of variety from my podfics as well :-)

As for "Easy As Pie", I really want to say, go ahead and listen to it anyway! But, yeah, you should probably finish watching season 5 first - if only so that the somewhat dark/angsty direction the Show generally ends up in, can be alleviated by the sheer grin-inducing powers of this podifc!

Or, you know, since today's Pi Day (3/14)....you could just skip right over the actually-watching-the-show bits, and head straight for the good stuff. There's not really spoilers spoilers.....just that, you know, season six happened and it was angsty and now the boys need pie.

Well! If today's Pi Day! In that case, I think I will. I was planning to listen to the other two from you I downloaded recently (the season 4 ones) so I'll add this one in, as a delightful follow up.

I think that might be a pattern with Supernatural: angsty things happen and they boys need pie. They don't get nearly enough pie as they deserve.
