Demonpowers!Sam is one of my favorite flavors of Sam (followed by possesive!Sam, and asskicking!Sam.....I enjoy a variety of Sams.....), and this fic was practically a double-scoop sundae. I hope you enjoy listening to the podfic as much as you enjoyed reading the original story ;-)

FYI, though, so some reason, the cover art keeps defaulting to the image from some other podbook called "Little Lamb, Stained in Red". It'll show the "Captured by the Game" cover art for a split second, and then it'll be overridden by "Little Lamb"... Very weird...

Sorry, I can't figure out why this is happening to you. The second cover is indeed on a previous podbook I compiled, but it is definitely not encoded into Captured by the Game, and the file dls and unzips properly for me (and apparently for others as there have been no additional comments).

Nevertheless, I'll re-upload the file and we can see what happens. :-)

Might be one of those Unsolvable Mysteries of Increasingly Evil iTunes. If I just highlight the title, it displays the correct image, but then when I actually play it, the image still switches to Little Lamb.

Maybe I'll try to play it in different programs and see what happens.

I walk my dog a lot and also listen as I drive to work or out shopping so it all adds up to me listening to a lot of podfic :)

I think you did a great job. I know I couldn't do it. I'd lose concentration halfway through.

Yeah, the 'losing concentration' part happened quite often - I think there was a point where I actually stopped even looking at the GarageBand file for almost a month, before I got back on the damnit-I-need-to-finish-recording-this horse ;-)

I was so impressed with how you read this! I mean, I know you can do funny, you've proved that over and over, but I didn't remember how good you are at reading dark...This was a long narrative to carry, and I thought it was pitch-perfect all the way through, I could tell who was speaking by the intonation, and I liked the way you never oversold the emotional component but just let it show through like an undercurrent. Made Evil!Sam's transition to JustKindofNormal!Sam very believable. But, my favorite part, hands down, was the scene you read where Dean jerks off Sam while essentially messing with his head after the big reveal with Ava. That was damn chilling - loved it. Then the slow and tentative turning to each other after you handled perfectly too. Loved the whole thing, really. I'd never read this story, though I love rivkat's stuff, so thank you for recording it, I would have missed out...

You're welcome! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Can I ask what your favorite part was? (Mine's the bit when Dean's training Sam how to fight, and Sam doesn't even realize it at first.... and also, the bit with Ava....and the time when - y'know what? The whole thing's my favorite. Never mind.)

I think my favorite thing was how... different Dean was while having sex with Sam. He was so open and vulnerable and listening to that part, I knew it would hit him incredibly hard, Sam's secret agenda, I mean.

Right? And at the end, where they're trying to make up and move on, but you can ell that things re still a little bit broken and sharp-edged under the surface of it all? Gah - gets me every time (well, at least four times, due to re-reads and edits of the podfic...)
