Hi! Welcome to amplificathon! I'll archive your podfic asap.

Would you also like a podbook version?

A podbook is a fannish audiobook or m4b. I compile them with cover art, and unlike mp3s they are automatically bookmarkable and, in iTunes, are filed in a separate playlist so they don't show, play, etc. with music. They also show in a separate category on an iPod.

Some mp3 players can handle podbooks, but many cannot. For listeners who can access their features, they are often the format of choice.

Nothing, really. :-)

I'll compile the 'book from your mp3s, archive it, send you the links for both the mp3 and m4b versions, and post the podbook version to amplificathon. Should all be done by tonight. :-)

So, I was babysitting earlier tonight, and while the little munchkin was asleep, I crocheted and listened all the way through your podfic (yes, I know, I have such a terribly exciting life.....) It was wonderful! I particularly enjoyed the way you delivered the Shakespeare quotes, and also your rendition of the last section - even though I already knew the ending, I got all emotional and caught up in your reading. Seriously, wonderful job ;-)
