Listened to two of your podfics, "One More Soldier Down" and this one. :) I really enjoyed your readings of both. ♥ I quite liked your voice especially: there is a sort of haunting, nuanced and almost hesitant quality in the way you read, and it worked exceedingly well in creating the atmosphere of quiet sadness present in both of those fics. Thanks for recording them! :D

Thanks. It's awesome to get some feedback on how I sound. It's very hard to tell if my voice sounds okay with a story or not, I never really like how it sounds. :)

This was one of the first fics I podficced after getting out of the hospital, I was incredibly nervous to try reading anything because I was still so easily tired that I kept stumbling over my words and slurring everything. By the time I recorded "One More Soldier Down" I was feeling at least a bit more confident. Not sure if any of that made it through in my reading or not. I'm just happy it sounds okay. :D
