The source is a children's picture book where a bunny says goodnight to everything in the room, and that's basically all you need to know to appreciate it. Contrary to what you might expect, it's a post-apocalyptic and serious story, rather than light and fluffy. Give it a chance, because it's an awesome story! Thanks to the author for letting me record it.

Uh, it's actually a post-apocalyptic story and is rather serious. Just so you're not expecting something light and fluffy! Maybe I should edit the post. : )

Hoo boy, I remember that this story made my head spin a little when I read it in the Yuletide archives. Kudos for podficcing it, I bet it was a challenge! :D

Actually, it wasn't much of a challenge at all! For whatever reason, it felt very natural to read aloud. I think it was because it still felt a lot like a bedtime story, despite the post-apocalyptic theme.
