We'll get your podfics archived asap. Would you like podbook versions as well?

Great!

A podbook is the fannish equivalent of an audiobook. It is filed by iTunes in the Books section away from your music, and they are auto-bookmarkable. People with players that can use the format tend to prefer them to raw mp3s for these reasons. They're especially nice for multiple part podfics as the parts can be combined; I also compile them with cover art like a pro audiobook.

I'll get to work on them asap. :-)

Can't wait to hear this! Apotheosis is a great story, can't wait to hear what you've done with it....and i'm interested in hearing the SPN one, too.

I thought your reading of Apotheosis was marvelous! I was particularly impressed with your Moriarty interpretation - the line between over-the-top and awkward can be fine one, but your Moriarty was the perfect blend of seductive and unhinged. Your John was pitch perfect - l liked the understated way you read him, with great detail, from his reparte with Moran to the way you say "evening." Great choice of story. I'd read it before, and liked it, but liked it even better as a podfic. I just appreciated the way it's a long journey, and the ending feels honest-to-god earned by the time John and the listener get to it...looking forward to listening to your other podfic work!

Augh, listening to Paradisi Inferno was a pleasure. I don't think I've ever heard another reader use silence quite in that way, but it lends a perfect weight to the performance of the story. Your voice had a great gravitas to it too! I'm totally enchanted. Like [livejournal.com profile] crinklysolution, I look forward to listening to Apotheosis and anything else you put forward.

I've just got done with Apotheosis and I don't even know where to start expressing my enthusiasm. Some of the credit certainly goes to the author, but your reading style is such a perfect match for the stories you choose and something about the timbre of your voice, really, really appeals to my ear. If my comments to Paradisi Inferno didn't make it clear, you've got a fan!

(It's also worth noting that I didn't hear page turning in either story; nothing in the silences but silence.)
