Oh, I think I understand the love and adoration for this fic. I was still making happy noises while on something like my 13th hour straight editing the thing.

I hope you enjoy what I've done with it.

(Yay for the podbang.)

I was going to wait until I'd finished listening before commenting, but I'm 4/5 fo the way there (started this story last week as incentive to get exercising again). I just walked 9km to get through a chapter and a half, and it's so hard to stop. I love the voices you've given John and Daniel, very much in-character and distinct and reflective of their apocalyptic experiences and grief. In short, this is fabulous and I never want it to end. Thank you so much for the recording!

I hope you enjoy it. It seemed like I might be taking a sideways step from your preferences, so I really hope it works for you.

It is seriously brilliant, and should be recced more often. Because it is just completely awesome. *grin*

I just finished the story yesterday -- your recording was great! The intro/outro music won me over immediately. :) You had a terrific reading style for the mood(s) of the story, the character voices were all well done, and the emotion you brought to Daniel's poignant moments broke my heart a little bit. Thanks again, it was a awesome story choice and you rocked it!

Wanted to say that I found your reading of this story quite smashing. For an apoco-fic, it's really quite funny and cheerful! I particularly liked your John-drawl, and the slight pauses in your Daniel-speak optimized the snarkiness nicely....but you also managed to make it pretty blazingly hot, and there was some very well done pathos at Daniel's grief over Jack and John's over Elizabeth. And your Rodney made me laugh! I hope no one reads this comment before they listen to the story, it appears to be full of spoilers....anyway great choice of story, great job with the reading of it. It was wicked long, too, must have taken forever to record and edit...
