Gah. Quite possibly my favorite fan in the whole Star Trek reboot fandom...well pretty much anything by green_postit is amazing.

I'm downloading this asap. It will make my "I'm sick in bed with a cold and its raining outside" day 100000 times better.

Oh, I hope you feel better! Have some soup - soup makes colds *and* rainy day seem brighter and less sniffly (...at least, it does in my experience). I'm glad you're enjoying this fic - I really enjoyed reading it the first time, and can only hope I did the story justice. :-)

The accents were lovely. I love listening to Bones with he lets his Southern accent show. I think you definitely did the story justice!

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you're feeling better...I hope, by now that you *are* feeling better, right? Also, I was a little leery of the Bones-accent-parts, because, well, I've been told more than once never to leave Long Island lest my accent render me nigh-incomprehensible (apparently, I pronounce 'coffee' funny, or something...). It's good to know that the words sound right! ;-)

This was darker than your usual stuff, but I like dark fic, and I thought this was some incredibly gripping storytelling. I thought the way you pronounced the word "dirty" at one point was just genius! I liked the way the story unfolded slowly and how you read it clearly and with intent... I loved this story, too, and I'm interested to read other stuff green_postit's written.

I listened to this on the overnight bus across the province last week and yeah. BLEW MY MIND. Is there a non-creepy way to say, man, you read those torture scenes so well? I definitely alarmed some of my fellow bus mates with giggles or a few shouted "OH GOD NO"s. Thanks so much for this :)

Um, I think so? Because I'm feeling really flattered that you enjoyed my creepitude, and not worried that you enjoyed the creepy....

Have you had a chance to check out the art that goes along with this story? (The cover attached to this podfic is from my very earliest attempts at making digital art (ie, this cover answered the question, "How do I use the text box?" in new and alarming ways), but steam_pilot made a whole slew of mug shots and character bios to go along with this fic, and they are all delicious.)

Also, you're very welcome! I'm thrilled to hear that you reacted out loud - most of my very favorite podfics to listen to have me reacting the same way, and to hear that my voice did that to someone else is such a very nice thing to hear....
