Date: 2010-12-02 01:28 pm (UTC)I also downloaded and listened to 'The New Frank and Gerard'. I'm not very into CWRPS, but the title wore me down. Aha~ I'm such a sucker for bandom, even if it's only referenced...^^''

Date: 2010-12-03 03:01 am (UTC)I have this theory, about RPF in any form - the less like reality it is, the better I'm able to tolerate it. Like, a fic that has all sorts of personal details, about real events in real people's lives, makes me feel skeevy and like the unsexy flavor of voyeur. Fics that try to emulate the personality of whoever-it-is, as well, make me feel dirty. But, an RPF where the story is completely out there, and the only correlation to real life is a well-known name and a very pretty face...well, that I can handle, plus, eye candy! In this one, the personalities are so over-the-top that I think one would be hard-pressed to draw any similarities to living beings, aside from the hot bods and famous names. So, I hope "The New Frank and Gerard" doesn't sketch you out too much... plus, there's a fanmix! :-)
