A/N: This story is loosely based on the film, The Final Cut, written and directed by Omar Naim. Character death is mentioned but the death does not occur in the fic.

Reader’s Notes: A story of unacknowledged love and missed opportunities.  Don’t let the warnings scare you off of this marvelous story.  I chose to podfic it with neeve’s permission, despite my inexperience, out of a desire to make the story accessible to more people.  The story deserves much better than I have given it, however, and you should read it in its original form.  The cover art here was graciously created byvida_boheme , who also lent her assistance in converting the files to the correct format and providing the links.

Hi, and welcome! I've made your reader tag.

You mention cover art, so I thought I might throw together a podbook for you, but there is no art attached to the mp3. :-(

Also, the Megaupload link isn't working, but the Sendspace one is fine.

Thank you! I didn't know how to attach the cover art (these are all *very* new skills for me) but I will go back and edit the entry. Will check on the links again too--thanks for letting me know there were problems!

EDIT: Maybe it was a temporarily glitch on the megaupload site? When I checked it again it seemed to be working...*fingers crossed it continues to do so*

I'm not sure about adding art in other ways, but if you have iTunes (free download from apple.com if you're not on a Mac), you go to Get Info in the File menu, click on the Artwork tab, and drag and drop or navigate to the picture from there.

Under the Info tab there you can also add metadata such as author, reader, and text link.

Thank you! I had always wanted to try my hand at podficcing, but I have the tech skills of a kumquat. It was a very ambitious thing that I tried here--I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it! The story deserves better, though. If I try this again, (and you are tempting me to do so) then I will probably experiment with something of mine, so I can live with the flaws. :-)
