Sometimes when I'm very, very bored I will attempt browsing ff.net. It is something of an excersise in masochism... Mostly I've seen a few Swedish fics in the anime/manga fandoms (which I'm not really into) and I think Harry Potter has quite a lot, but one thing I don't feel like doing is wade through the HP fanfics on ff.net (even I'm not that masochistic).
And of course the translation never ends up saying the exact same thing as the original, which is why I'm hesitant to translate anything else than my own fic. Because what if I end up interpreting it wrong? Or it just doesn't do justice to the original?
Oh, yeah. I speak three languages and manage to mix them together pretty well. XD And part of the problem is that these days I write more in English than I do either of the other two.
