short question: Do we have to include this header also in read out form at the beginning of the podfic or is it enough to state title, author and reader?

I`m going to podfic a collection of 10 'Northern Exposure' crossover snippets (story link (http://yuletidetreasure.org/archive/47/strangersin.html)). But half the fun is to figure the other fandom and that would be reduced by stating them and the pairings. Would it be ok to just write NE/crossovers?

Hey y'all, I have a needy request--would it be possible to link this post from the community profile page or in the links box over to the side there? I (and I know of several other people) am always anxious about posting to a community and Doing! It! WRONG! so I always want to check the template. Unfortunately as the first post of 241 under the "post:mod" tag, it's a little harder to find...

Hi there! This posting template was created for the first year of our annual challenge which is run from the community, for which this community was originally created. It was never intended as a rule or guide for every day posting, which is why it is from 2008 and has never been linked from the side bar or profile page.

There is no wrong way to post to this community, though there is information you should include so that the Audiofic Archivists can do their jobs more easily. (please see any entry made at the Audiofic Archive for an idea of what information they need)

We've been looking at creating a suggested posting structure, but we haven't finished, though when we are of course it will be linked somewhere that users can actually find it. It would be pretty useless otherwise. ;)

Okay, good to know! I mean, it's not like I figured you all were going to track me down & have me flogged for messing up the format or anything, but you know there's always that fear of doing it wrong in public...

We're a pretty laid back community (both the comm and the podfic fandom in general), no flogging here. :) There's really no format for posting, which you can probably tell by looking at the posts haha, and the archivists should ask you for any info they need that wasn't provided. Hope this helps!
