I'm not sure Young Macgyver was ever even picked up - keepaofthecheez found the pilot and uploaded it a couple days ago. If you're interested, you could probably comment to this post (http://keepaofthecheez.livejournal.com/631632.html) and still get the link from her. There's more backstory/details from Gilmore Girls, but I've never seen that one myself. I don't think there's enough in there that you'd be lost, though.
