Summary: For most of his twenty-two years, Olly has been a bedroom singer, or a shower singer, or an alone in the kitchen singer. He did a few talent shows in primary school, but once he hit secondary school and it became clear that his classmates weren’t into all the ways he was different, he stopped. ... But now he’s in London. Working, paying his own rent with acting jobs, which he knows isn’t all that easy to do. And when he goes out on the pull, often as not he succeeds in actually pulling. Toilet hookups, hot and heavy snogs up against shadowed walls, and a perfectly average number of guys he spends a night or maybe even two with. Nothing at all out of the ordinary. Until, for a friend’s birthday party, Olly tries karaoke.
