Just listened to this! It was so adorable and the music was perfect - wonderfully light and matching the tone of the story. Thank you so much for recording it and for going the extra mile with the music, too. Sorry to hear it was a horror to edit but, hey, it paid off!

I was pretty frustrated with the music at post time, but now cooler heads prevail and I'm glad I did it. My original idea was the music as is... but at editing, I had another idea which sounded great in the beginning, but started to break down as the music got louder. Music was playing very,very lightly in the background. However, the music started to get too loud, and it got old over longer segments. I'll keep experimenting with using music for transitions--when I can find appropriate pieces ;).
