Need help posting a streaming file to AO3

amplificathonI don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm trying to post to AO3 a streaming file from Mediafire and it isn't working. It looks right when it's posted - I'm using the code that AO3 provides and filling in my file link from Mediafire - but when you click to play it, you don't hear anything. I made sure the volume is all the way up. I've used all the variations given on AO3, but none of them play. No solution comes up when I Google it.
Is there something wrong with the link to Mediafire? Or what? I feel like there's probably a simple solution, but I'm stumped.
