Title: Post Modern Prometheus
Writer/Reader: fresne
Fandom: Sherlock BBC, Frankenstein
Pairings: Sherlock/John
Series: Variations on an Equation series, this is a series of Omegaverse stories that AU each other. Music Credit: Theme to 1931 Frankenstein movie, and Flight of the Bumblebees London Orchestra
Warnings: Omegaverse. Well, err… you know, there’s no sex or preg. Cis bent Jim. Some Jim POV. Character death. However, a happy ending.
Summary: Where Doctor Jem Moriarty looked down at what she had created as its pale eyes first opened. She took a step back. She shuddered at the hideousness of her creation. Oh, not its form. Its form was perfect. She had computer modelled every aspect of its flesh. She had accomplished what no other Alpha had. The creation of life without needing an Omega to gestate that life. To enter random chance into that creation. Her work. All the perfection that went into it was a horrible contrast with its watery eyes as it came awake for the first time.
Where she turned away and where her creation went next.
