Additional notes: First off, since I speak Welsh about as well as the clueless American that I am, I opted to use a more Anglicized pronunciation of the various names, as I just knew that I'd end up mangling things too badly otherwise (particularly in the case of Lleu--that voiceless alveolar lateral fricative will be the death of me someday, I swear). Apologies in advance to any native speakers who might listen to this and cringe.

The story has been very (very) lightly edited from the original text for ease of reading. Nothing terribly noticeable, probably, unless you're following along with a fine-tooth comb, but I thought it bore mentioning all the same.

The clips at the beginning and end are from "Song for Gwydion" by Blodeuedd, because I apparently cannot resist the urge to be allusive with my music choices at every possible opportunity.

Also, although I may not be the best judge of this, this story can probably be enjoyed without extensive knowledge of canon. (And of course I'm not just saying that as a way to get people to listen to podfic in a super-obscure fandom. Nope.) If you'd like to familiarize yourself with the source material, though, the Jones and Jones translation of the Fourth Branch is one of the more readable versions. ...Or, y'know, there's always Wikipedia. :P

Special thanks to the author for blanket permission and being awesome enough to write fic based on medieval Welsh literature (*nerdly squee!*). Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to give this crazy thing a listen. And particular thanks to the Great Cyfarwydd Himself, for continuing to be a source of strength and inspiration in this wild and wonderful adventure. <3
