Title: The Christmas Shenanigans of Finn McKay
Author:
sheafrotherdon
Reader:
kalakirya
Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis (Farm in Iowa Universe)
Pairing: John/Rodney
Rating: G
Time: 18 minutes
Summary: Finn is two, and John is at his mercy.
text at AO3 on LJ
reader's note: music is Nat King Cole singing "The Christmas Song" (aka "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...")
Title: Baby Jesus' Pompoms
Time: 11 minutes
Summary: December 24th, after Finn turns four. Chaos. The usual.
text at AO3 on LJ
reader's note: music is Burl Ives' "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas"
Title: Letters to Santa
Time: 7 minutes
Summary: Dear Santa: I am writing this under extreme duress, because my son and partner are pouting pouty pouters and, frankly, life is too short. Also, I was promised a blow job. Please don't show the elves that part.
text at AO3 (not on LJ!)
reader's note: music is Fred Astaire singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" from 1970 Rankin and Bass film of the same name. Also, I hope that the baby cackling sounds cute, rather than evil.
(would welcome feedback on this and any other aspect of these (and any other!) podfics... does the music fit? are they too obvious/clichéd/just right? is Finn's voice weird/grating/too loud/unintelligible? I tried several new recording tactics (shouting at the microphone! Rodney talking reallyreally quickly!) and am not entirely sure if they work)
