Date: 2011-07-17 02:18 pm (UTC)Perhaps I downloaded it too quick and Cybel realised and changed it after. Not to worry anyway! :)

Date: 2011-08-12 02:22 am (UTC)Seriously, I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your reading so much (a couple of times, even). Your voice is lovely and your enunciation very clear. I've noticed that I get easily irritated with inflection that disagrees with my own interpretation, but yours is quite nice (in that it agrees with mine, I suppose. *grins*) Anyway, thanks for this; I'll be keeping my eyes open for other recordings of yours.

Date: 2011-08-12 08:59 pm (UTC)I supposed I should put this in a comment to your actual post, but I literally just now finished listening to your podfics of the PBR verse, and I loved them - you really captured their cowboy voices without going over the top and I was sad when I got to the end of Gathered Up, because listening has made my commute something I looked forward to for the past week. So thank you for recording those!

Date: 2011-08-13 02:28 pm (UTC)As a Southwesterner myself, it drives me crazy when someone gets that accent wrong. (I'm sitting about 15 miles from Texas' Western border and I can assure you that Texans really do talk like that. :) Overdone is worse than not at all, although I don't so much hear this on podfic as I see it on TV/movies. Anyway, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm very glad that this one made the hours on the road more interesting for you.
