Extremely! I have probably two dozen lying around in rough form which I might redo if I ever get around to contacting the authors (right now they're just for my own enjoyment since most of them are old and getting in touch seems too difficult).

Many authors have given blanket permission to podfic. These can often by found on their LJ profile pages. There's also a post on fanlore about this here.

I've seen a few that give it, but haven't run into many for the ones I've already done? Never seen the fanlore list though, and it looks a great deal more extensive, so thank you for that!

... I am going to spend the entire weekend picking over that list and then recording everything ever, I just know it.
