etothepii wrote a terrific Sherlock/HDM crossover, and snake_easing wrote another one; in the latter (and this pushed it over into PURE GENIUS afaic) Jim is Molly's daemon. I've podficced both, actually, and snake_easing is actually still working on an ongoing sequence of fics continuing from where hir story finished off - I am HEAD OVER HEELS in love with this idea of Molly as Moriarty, with Jim as her soul. Nothing canon can serve up for that character will ever be half so delicious, I know.
