Oh, my sister did those shows too, later. TL;DR info--basically, my sister thought I was OMG SO COOL when we were younger, and did a lot of your average older-sibling-worshippy things (when I dyed by hair purple, she dyed hers green, etc.) And so for a long time, the stuff I liked was the sort of stuff she got into too. Except obviously, I'm kind of a HUGE GEEK, so the stuff I liked when I was thirteen? Was like, Harry Potter fic. XD So we spent a long time geeking out together over television shows and computer graphics and such. And then she hit puberty, and went from "the really smart girl" (which lends itself to geekyness) to "the really pretty girl" (which doesn't preclude geekyness, but doesn't lend itself to it as much), and realized that I was kind of the epitome of UNcool, and consequently, the things I liked? Also uncool. The rest is history, I'm afraid.
< / tl;dr > SO IN CONCLUSION: I'm jealous, I WISH I could sway my sister back to The Geek Side with Buffy marathons!
Oh, dear. I...oh dear. *sends you cyber cookies of SYMPATHY* Strong feelings about The Vampire Book That Shall Not Be Named, I HAS THEM. XD
