Happily it looks like I'm over-reacting, and we're not (yet) at the place I thought we were; apparently the files AREN'T actually downloadable, it's just the data about their existence that's there. Which is a lot less disconcerting.
I probably should take this as a pre-emptive warning to ask myself about what I'm happy to have publicly available, as and when something does go pear-shaped (like some twit uploading a podfic to Youtube, or something). Hmm. Given my acknowledged fecklessness, though, I will probably carry on carrying on - just be leary about recording NC17 things in the future.
