I loved the little musical stings you did between section breaks, they were just the right length and the music really suited the mood of the story.

Sorry to be so late, and THANK YOU!!! i'm so glad you liked Inexactitude. It's kinda exactly the type of story I probably wouldn't be listening to, but i love phantomjam's style, and really wanted to read it. And I'm so glad someone wanted to listen to it, even if it tore their hearts out :((((

The music's from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack. Somehow I love the melancholy of it, the sadness that just is...

It's weird but I can handle a little bit of heart tearing out in podfic, as long as it's not over, say 4 hours? At that point it becomes too much, so I try not to listen to anything that's really long + really intensely sad/angsty.

But this was perfect! Mid length + intense, I can handle just fine:)

Yeah, I know what you mean! I have a couple of SPN I finally gave up on. Somehow I can *read* more diverse, probably because I can skim and go back and forth, but with podfic you're kinda stuck with the story in the moment and can't get out.

I think my personal threshold might be closer to 2 hours though for heart-tearing.... I think the worst for me in this story is that even if and when Sherlock comes back...there's no way to bridge that pain, and I really hope they do that justice on the show (though I assume he won't be gone for years EVEN IF WE HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG :)
