Just a heads up - I just tried to download the non music version of Perpetual Rain (from here (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G3HKYAMA)) and got the Audacity Project File (.aup) instead...

Aside from that glitch. I've downloaded versions of both these stories. I enjoy the stories (despite the subject matter!) so I'm looking forward to listening.

I enjoyed this so much! In TS, Legion is one of my very favorite authors, with a streak of mysticism and a streak of raw heat (not in this one, of course), entwined in a fashion I don't see often. I really, really like your sound effects for it, and I appreciate that you take the time to have music & no music versions. I really like your narrative style here, very gripping.
I'm in the process of d'ling and stuffing into my Ipod your Point of Contact epic. 12 plus hours, holy cow! You are a mavin!

I'm sitting here beaming at your comment. Thank you so much for letting me know what you thought, and as a bonus -- you liked it! Yay!

Once I understood how many people have difficulty with auditory processing I couldn't not make non music versions. Also, music doesn't appeal to everybody, or they don't enjoy having music they didn't pick added to the recording. It is extra work, but I'm happy to do it.

Legion wrote me, when I asked for permission to podfic this story, that she had written it and introduced it by reading it outloud for a PJ party with Sentinel fans at (I think) Revelcon. She wrote that there actually was a storm that night, and rain and thunder and lightning. So partly I wanted to include those sound effects because of the history of the story, and because of the nature of the story.

Thanks for downloading Point of Contact. I hope you enjoy the story, if you haven't read it before, and the recording.
