Pretty much! :) In the movie, what startled me was less Emily's disordered eating habits than her complete lack of awareness that it was a problem (or at least, the movie didn't present her as seeing it as unusual or unhealthy in any way). Andy, on the other hand, has scenes eating French fries, onion bagels, and grilled Jarlsberger sandwiches, and I think their contrasting relationships with food would become a problem if they were dating.

The argument over Andy and Emily's respective approaches to food makes a lot of sense. I really enjoyed this story, and I thought you read it well, too.
