that's right, it's podbang!

get ready to hold on to your hats (but don't hold on to them yet, that would be silly)! we're currently tweaking podbang in an effort to shape it into something that sparks just as much (or more) joy, but fewer mod tears and trauma. more announcements coming soon, including rules, timelines, how to sign up, and whatever else we think of.

Let me know if you need help doing matchups—every time pod_together rolls around, I get my BF to write a program that automates that process, and I could also use it to make podbang matchups happen really quickly.

Ack! If only I had time to record something long right now! Any chance of offering some sort of option for poor sods like me who want to do an exchange, but can't really promise more than something a half-hour long?

(Also, will you be organizing this on AO3? I vaguely recall that being tossed around as an option at some point in the distant past.)

Butting in here, but if podbang is too long for you, and you're on Twitter, cantarina and I are in the second year of running our #InformalTwitterPodficExchange, which has a similar timeframe, but no minimum/maximum limits!

*adjusts mod cap* Because this is a gift exchange and you will have to give a gift that fits certain criteria as requested by your recipient, the podfic you're working on may not be suitable. However, if it does fit, and you haven't posted any parts of it already, then you can certainly use a piece you're already working on. :)
